By engaging young talents through the art of dancing, the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) has managed to spread awareness on the grim topic of drug consumption through memorable and captivating performances that wows audiences.
“DanceWorks!”, an annual dance competition held in conjunction with the Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year. INX is truly honoured to support “DanceWorks! 2018” in events production and management.
To create publicity as well as maintaining the hype of the event, pre-activations were held through interaction and engagement with the public. An 8ft cubic lightbox GIF dance booth was fabricated and deployed in 8 different locations from May to July 2018. Participants are able select the colour of the booth, do a simple dance move and get their clip emailed to them as a GIF. Participants were encouraged to post these GIF through their own social media to pledge against the usage of drugs and raise awareness for the event.
The main event / competition was held at the Clarke Quay Central Fountain from 7th to 8th July 2018. To complement the theme of light, extensive lighting system and programmable neon rope lights were rigged onto a 15m wide x 15m depth x 9m high ground support structure. INX also supplied the main stage, photowall, lighted furniture and all professional AVL requirements for the competition.
